Now possible, wheel truing without having to remove the tyre, even when very wide tyres are mounted! With this add-on assembly you can convert the Cyclus Tools truing stand, Art. 720085 so that tyres up to 29x2.6 can remain on the wheel while wheel truing.

Suitable for all axle types, rim widths, rim diameters, and in particular wheels with tyres up to a dimension of 29x2.6.

Once the feeler tips have been aligned against the rim, and the wheel has been checked for radial and lateral run-out, the wheel must be flipped around turned for further inspection. The new sensor assembly has a practical locking mechanism for the feele arms which allows the wheel to be quickly removed from the centring stand and flipped. The locking mechanism can then be easily released with one hand and the sensors return instantly to their original position.
