The bearing extractor can be used to precisely and easily drive out all size of bearings from their housing/seating, without pressing on touching the frame, fork or any other delicate components. This is especially good for extracting bearings from sensitive carbon frames. The two different hammer sizes (700g and 1400g) enable small and larger bearings to be driven out with a suitable force. Always ensure that the hammer is held and fully inserted in the bearing axis. Clean the bearing housing beforehand and apply silicone oil to free very stuck bearings. The sliding hammer, the connecting element and a bearing adapter are all necessary for a functional tool. The weight from the slide hammer and the bearing adapter can be exchanged according to the size of bearing being worked on.
