A double reduced cross-section 18/8 stainless steel spoke that thins out between spoke head and thread. 25% lighter than a conventional spoke.

All of these mechanical characteristics result in the production of stable, tough and robust spokes. They are also, and this is not their only quality, perfectly suited to machine and robot wheel assembly. The stainless steel 18/8 spokes adapt to fit the stresses of torsion which they undergo and enable efficient assembly productivity.
The final and most important reason to use stainless steel spokes is their strong resistance to a wet and salty environment.
After 1008 hours exposure in salt chamber testing no evidence of corrosion is observed.
